Saltash United hosted Foxhole in a clash of two young teams trying to play football on a bumpy and much overused pitch. The game was held up for twenty-five minutes owing to an injury to a Foxhole player and three minutes after it was restarted Gary Camps put the visitors ahead. Saltash equalised when James Moriarty was hacked down and Adam Keith put away the penalty. Wayne Skeldon lobbed the keeper to put Saltash ahead and ten minutes from time a similar finish saw Josh Fairweather give the hosts a 3-1 victory.

Goals from Adam Keith, Wayne Skeldon and Josh Fairweather answered the call from the management team to play to their ability and not role over like they did last week against Torpoint.
The first half was stopped 5 minutes from time for a serious leg injury to one of the visitors players. The game was stopped for twenty odd minutes whilst an ambulance was called to deal with the injury.
The referee then re- started the game, and Foxhole scored on the 44th minute with a good individual goal by Garry Camps.
Saltash replied with a goal from Keith Adams after Maza was brought down in the penalty box, and a penalty awarded on 55 minutes.
Davenport then laid off the perfect ball to Skeldon who lobbed the keeper from the 18 yard line.
The game was finished off with a good goal from Josh Fairweater who again lobbed the keeper, who had parried a good shot from Adam Keith.
Foxhole will no doubt look forwards to the return leg, just to play on a better surface, as Warfelton was poor, something the referee will be mentioning in his report.
